I know I haven’t been posting. I’m a bad, bad blogger. But given today’s significance as 6-6-06, I thought it important to drag myself away from my wretched grading for a moment and say something. But what is there to say that’s worthy of this distinguished date? I could tell you that The Omen remake is a shameless, unoriginal marketing ploy, but I think that’s fairly self-evident. I could try and write some kind of salient defense of The Beast, or give some Bibilical exegesis on the meaning of 666, but that would be as tedious for me to write as it would be for you to read. So what can I do, except perhaps give you a little glipse of the past? That’s right, for a limited time I’m reviving the old Den of Sin’s infamous Page of Villains (inspired by the also infamous Wall of Villains). Try not to laugh too hard at this relic from one of my first webpages… if you’re lucky, I might add a few new blokes to try and overcome that totally 90’s feel.

This evening, I got to do one of the coolest things ever. I got to be an extra in a zombie movie.

Hmmm, maybe you all didn’t catch that: I GOT TO BE A ZOMBIE IN A ZOMBIE MOVIE!!!!!!

Seriously. I don’t know what the movie is about. I don’t know how good or bad it will be when it comes out. And yes, it’s a very small independent project. But it is, nonetheless a real, honest to goodness movie that required I sign waiver forms and everything. And the best part (as though getting to be a zombie isn’t sweet enough) is that MY ZOMBIE CHARACTER KILLED OFF A MAIN CHARACTER!!!!! So they’ve got to leave me in, right? Even if it’s just for a few seconds?! Oh, wow. I’m so excited. So I shall post more when I hear that production is actually finished. I know they finish shooting in a few weeks, but I think we’re talking about 6-8 more months or so until the movie is officially done. So until then, you can have a sneak preview of zombie-me.
