Eye Can See
May 17, 2009
I actually came across this guy back in January or February, but I didn't remember that I took the picture until now. Anyway, I was in the car with dragonslayer heading to Chuck’s Southern Comforts Cafe (which was excellent, btw) when we unexpectedly ran across this fellow. I have to say, even after the Great Road Trip across the country, I don’t think anything we saw was quite as amazing as this giant Indian wearing eyeglasses with an “Eye Can See You” sign. Yes, I did photoshop this picture, but only to compensate for the fact that I took the worst picture ever of this amazing sign. What can I say? I was totally unprepared and I’d never used my camera phone before.

For real - everybody knows how to use photoshop except me. I’ve had it on my computer for a year and I still have no idea what I’m doing. I seriously need to take a class.

Oh, and while you’re discovering pictures you’ve taken over the past several months, do you happen to have any from either of the weddings we went to?

Okay, okay :-P Those pictures will be my #1 priority for this weekend.

Memories. God that was fun. I think I totally stopped traffic in the intersection while driving stupidly slow so that we could get that pic. I’d forgotten all about it! And I think you did a terrific job with the photoshop text recovery jobby. Good work. But I’d love to know what the sign said before.

Apparently, it was also in Wayne’s World? I don’t remember that.

I don’t think he had the “Eye can see” sign/glasses in Wayne’s World, which, in my opinion, is clearly the only thing making him awesome. You know, cigar store Indian is just so trite these days, no matter how big it is. And honestly, my photoshopping skills are pretty primitive, you just don’t notice so much when I make the final picture really small!
