R. Batty is a dark, twisted individual
August 17, 2008Ah dear readers, you surprise me! Who knew that you’d reject my grim darkness and call for color and flowers and pink things? I thought you all knew me better than that. Well, well, you learn something new every day…
That being said, I make no promises to permanently colorize/happify the site any time soon. It does still need work (mainly links), and I will consider adding some tasteful highlights of color, but it’s supposed to evoke gray, ugly, “Communist Russia” feelings–that’s an electric chair in the header, you know?
::sigh::
Would y’all prefer it with flames instead?

Selfishly, I prefer the flames to the pink abomination. It’s not like abominations are terrible - I just prefer them to not be pink. You cheeky bastard.

BTW - nice improvements, overall. (Again, selfishly) I’m just glad you posted a pic of me in my Satan hockey sweater. Nice.

No. No flames. Way too fratboy. Hate flames. Unless they are warm . . .

Man, ain’t nothing fratboy about melting faces from the 1953 House of Wax! That being said, I’m not keeping the flames. I’m just, as Dana says, being cheeky :-)

Yay, I like dark better than licky flames! More like your spooky zombie soul . . . Apparently there is a new book called The Zen of Zombie: Better Living Through the Undead. You should find it AT YOUR LOCAL LIBRARY. Lots of braaaaaaaains in libraries. No, wait, who am I kidding, there aren’t.

Rest assured, I will someday figure out how to incorporate my awesome House of Wax flames. Just not today. And honestly, zombies don’t really strike me as very Zen. If I had to stick a label on them, I’d go with nihilists.
