Something about trying to push a car out of its icy grave parking spot really takes a lot out of you. And this is why I leave the whole owning motor vehicles thing to my friends while I’m living in this land of ice and snow. Although on the plus side, I expect to sleep well tonight. Other highlights from today include:
- discovering Gospel Mimes (Celia explains them mighty finely)
- hearing the best quote ever in a local car dealership informercial, “biography is destiny”
- kicking some RE: Umbrella Chronicles ass (yes, I did get past that regenerating monster)
- Learning that a friend is in a band with a ukulele, cello, and a kazoo. And they’re good!
- realizing that La Fontanella really does have some of the best pasta in the Windy City

Okay, more to come soon. Hopefully I’ll post some felt-zombie and exotic encased meats pictures tomorrow. Woohoo!!!

  1. Still waiting to see felt zombie pictures. And the mimes really freaked all us children’s librarians out. A lot. Spooky.

  3. Yes, Jon and I actually beat the game last night (and all just so that we could unlock the co-op play for all the stages). The special stage is pretty awesome: simple, creepy, and addictive! Thank god, no mimes involved.
