    R. Batty @ 12:24 am

I’m leaving town tomorrow (technically today given the time) for a wedding, and frankly, I wish I weren’t. Don’t get me wrong, I’m not so horribly misanthropic that I can’t stand to see my friends be happy or anything like that. In truth, I would normally be looking forward to this–to seeing friends that I’ve hardly seen at all over the past few years. But nooooo, right now I’m sick and I just want to crawl into bed and sleep for the next three days. It doesn’t help that even though I didn’t think I was supposed to be doing much of anything except studying this term, I still feel like I’ve spent this week running around like a chicken with my head cut off. And even though the TSA will now let me wear my gel-filled bra onto the plane and bring 3 ozs of KY jelly, aerosol hair styling spray, and toy transformer robots in my carry-on, I still just can’t get excited about this trip.
    :-(

    1. So did the gel bra, the KY, the hair spray, an the transformer come in handy? i can see you fitting right in with those things in Texas. All except the toy transformer. ; )
